Here's a tip that almost every modeler knows but I'm sure there are a few of you out there that don't know this little tip.  Woodland Scenice sells a product that is used for gluing anything you want to on your layout, now there scenice cement as they call it is a high priced glue and rubbing alcohol mix that can cost you up to $8.00. Well that can get very expensive if you have a lot of stuff to put on your layout that you need permently cemented.  So I have a solution to that costly product, here's what you do, go to your local drug store or look in your ads in the paper and try to find the cheapest  bottles of glue you can find and if you have a lot of area to cover stock up!!  After you have your glue if you live by a Family Dollar or a Dollar Tree go there and pick up some 50% by volume rubbing alcohol, its usually 2 for a $1.  When you have gotten all of your material take an ordinary spray bottle and make a 50*50 mix of the glue and water, and there you have it, inexpensive "scenic cement".
